2010 |
Bulgaria will receive EUR 300 million additional compensation for the
decommissioning of units of the Kozloduy nuclear power plant (NPP). That emerged
late last night after a meeting of negotiators from the EU's 27 member states
with members of the European Parliament, which approved the bloc's 2010
budget.
The first EUR 75 million tranche will be disbursed in 2010. Bulgaria will
receive as much in each of the three years to 2013. The information was
announced by Bulgarian MEP Ivaylo Kalfin of the group of socialists and
democrats, who took part in the meeting.
